The Divine Mercy Image
From the Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska
"Divine Mercy In My Soul"

St. Maria Faustina Kowalska was given the title: Secretary of God's Mercy. She had a vision of the image of our merciful Lord (above) where he told her to have it painted with the words: Jesus, I trust in You. He then gave her a very important task. She was to tell the whole world of God's great love for even the worst sinner.
Our Lord told St. Faustina that on the day of judgement he would demand a great number of souls from her...

Excerpts from the diary....
"I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish."
(the divine Mercy image)
Let the sinner not be afraid to approach me.
...and I understood his greatest attribute is love and mercy!
Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to my mercy.
Let all mankind recognize my unfathomable mercy. It is a sign for the end times; after it will come the day of justice.
the greater the sinner...the greater the right he has to my mercy
Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from my infinite mercy...
Say unceasingly the chaplet that I have taught you. Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.
My daughter, gather all sinners from the entire world and immerse them in the abyss of my mercy....I want to give myself to souls.. I yearn for souls!
My love deceives no one.
O Blood and Water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a Fount of Mercy for us, I Trust in You!
